Friends are loyal.  Jonathan was a constant friend.  Let’s go back to Proverbs again – do you remember what Prov 18:24 stated? There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.  Friends stick.  There is NOT cost benefit analysis going on. Turn back a couple of pages to Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

Keep this Tim Keller quote in mind “You will never get through adversity without a FRIEND, you will never get through life without adversity…so…. you’ll never get through life without a friend.”
